0 Day #21: 30 books in 30 days : Sing alongs

As part of the 30 books in 30 days challenge, everyday of the challenge we will post a reading prompt to motivate you to read books.

Day #21 : Reading Prompt : Sing along

March 21 is Children's poetry day. The reading prompt honors it.

Books which can be sung as songs.

Our picks:

1. Over in the meadow:  - Illustrated by Jill McDonald, Sung by Susan Reed. There are many illustrated version of this book. We love this one the best. Mother-baby animals doing all activities like wink, dig, sing, bask, dive, buzz and so much more . Great for action play and a great counting rhyme too.
Here is the video for you sing along.

2. Personal Penguin - Sandra Boynton : All her books are great picks for this prompt. This one is our personal favourite! The lyrics are amazing.

But if I could be yours
and you could be mine
our cozy little world would be twice as nice.
The book recommends the version sung by Davy Jones of the Monkees fame.
